Summary

NovaPlayer is a free, offline media player. It has no accounts and no tracking, and we do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data. The web version shows no ads at all. The Android app shows a single banner ad supplied by Google AdMob.

Media and file access

To play your videos, music, and subtitle files, NovaPlayer asks permission to read media on your device. This access is used only to list and play files inside the app. Files are opened locally and are never uploaded, copied, or transmitted anywhere. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your device or browser settings, after which NovaPlayer will no longer be able to list your media.

Data we collect

We collect nothing ourselves: no analytics, no crash-reporting trackers, and no marketing tools. Your playlist and settings stay on your device.

In the Android app, Google AdMob serves the banner ad and may use your device’s advertising identifier and approximate location to choose which ad to show. NovaPlayer requests non-personalised ads. You can reset or delete the advertising identifier in Android Settings → Google → Ads. Google’s own policy explains this handling at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Children

NovaPlayer is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
